The Inability to Tell Reality
Derrida: Descalte sought to demonstrate that the only way we could know that we exist is through our thinking. He says because we can't necessarily trust our senses, we don't know if what we are interpreting with these senses is actually giving us the true objects in the world. The fact that all humans dream reveals another level to this problem and one that kind of encapsulates all of us, Derrida says.
