Just trying to intermittent fast isn't necessarily going to lead to the weight loss you want. Body composition can change depending on how we fuel our body, how many calories we eat,. How we exercise, and so on and so forth. And i will say, when you're focusing on body composition, the scale may not change, because the scale can't tell you what is sin these areas.
