The Importance of Social Issues in Movies
In today's climate, the odds are against anybody's being able to view a non-judgmental movie involving underage actresses in psychosexual hijinks with much equanimity. Drew Barrymore was strange because she was really trying to play this evil, scheming woman, and to sweet Frankly, she's not mean enough to play this whole week. She came across as kind and nice, but dress up sexy and act real bad. It's the same problem we have with Tom Selleck in the first movie.
