I think the united nations on the whole, has been a net negative for the peace and security of the world. I do not want china or russia to be able to dictate how the united states should act visav syria when syrian civilians are being gassed with saren. The basharasad regime has the benefit of having two allies with veto power on the onhe security council. It's imperfect, but these are the rules we signed on to. And we have to accept that it won't always go our way, but we're better off having this system in place.
