The Importance of Understanding Your Goals

Most of my career I've worked at not like startup startups, but smaller companies. The company I spent most of the time at over the last four or five years was a 600 person company engineering. You have to look really steady expectations early on, just so you don't waste time. Everyone's going to have their own path. It does don't model yourself after someone else. Just do what works for you.
