Maine's Governor Endorsing Rank-Choice Voting
Maine was the first state to pass ranked-choice voting. In Connecticut, both Democratic and Republican candidates for governor wound up endorsing it because they were just trying to win. If you have a political interest in being for these reforms, then it can become a winning issue.
