One Thing: Let the love of the Father keep you from the love of the world.

I. The assuring love of the Father (12-14), offers us:

● Forgiveness of sins

● Relationship with God

● Strength to overcome

II. The alluring love of the world (15-17), offers us:

● Desires of the flesh

● Desires of the eyes

● Pride of life
