The White Male Effect and the Climate Crisis
The whole debate actually, is gendered, but not explicitly, gendered, implicitly. If you don't have a correct analysis of what has caused the climate crisis and where its impacts are being most felt, you will come up with the wrong solutions. It's critical for women to have fair and equal sentation in decision making about our climate future. And yet, we do not have any semblance of this equality right now. The research shows that women are vastly under represented among the leadership of groups and organizations that are working to address climate change. So even as women are more likely to be impacted by climate change, we are less likely to be at the table when it comes to finding solutions
