The Sea of Death

Bruce Springsteen wrote the song S E A for Mother's Day. The lyrics are about Jesus and his mother Mary, who died with him on Calvary Hill. "There's no getting out as spring sting has looted," he says in one verse. It is a metaphor for whatever level of spirituality you have between earth and what lies beyond.
