Is Methanol Really Dangerous?

Ethanol is the one that you can store body parts in for centuries, remove oil stains off your garage floor. The bad chemical from ethanol is acetaldehyde, and that makes you just feel moderately unwell. Whereas methanol gets broken down into a four meldal hide, and that's really, really nasty. There was a case of some medical students who got some ethanol from the laboratory, they stole it for a party, and accidentally they sold for methanol. Some of them went blind.
