The Problems of Inflation Are Worse Than People Think

The fed has been criticized for bringing about ever higher prices, and of course, correctly criticized for that. But the problems of inflation are actually worse than just that. So first of all, we have the injustice of so called redistribution or cantion effects. And in that process, it inevitably enriches certain groups at the expense of others. Those group s are politically well connected. Groups. It doesn't distribute that new money by flying in a helicopter and dropping it proportionately on everybody. Instead, the new money enters the economy at particular points. So whoever gets that money first gets to spend it. Prices have yet risen, so you just get stuff that probably you shouldn'thave ben
