Glycolipids: A Gentle Cream Cleanser

Glycolipids are a type of surfactant that actually come from fermentation, fermentation of a sugar and an oil like canola oil or something like that. They're a very mild surfactant, very, very gentle to skin, really, really non-irritating. In addition to their cleansing properties, they do offer some emulsification. So it's probably aiding in this instance. And those other ingredients in there, the whole thing, they will also knock down the foam.
