There came a point when i had to take responsibility. And it was around the same time that i started to get into minimalism and self development. I decided to really take responsibility for myself in every aspect of my life, and money was one of those big ones. The total money makeover was by dave ramsey, was a really a turning point for me, cause i it gave me a bit of a game plant. It's about getting out of debt is step one, for the most part.
