Introduction
C.S. Lewis's The Problem of Pain was published originally in 1940. This is actually his first attempt at Christian apologetics, a book-linked study. He wanted to write it anonymously because he thought people knew him would say, you're no great hero of pain endurance. In California, they have houses right near the sea where you can't get insurance.
