Physicists Aren't Doing Chemistry, Right?
I got into physics to avoid all the complications of chemistry and biology. We like approximating things as simple objects, dots, spheres, circles whenever we can. The picture we have of those particles we've been putting together for about a hundred years, it sort of all clicks together very nicely now. It's a pretty good theory that describes what we can see and it works pretty well.
