The Evolution of the Elnino Event in Marine Aguanas

Elninu events can be fatal for marina guana populations because their food can disappear. During one of the strong elninos in the 19 eighties, we realized that they were losing a lot of fat. The bone structure was reducing itself. So the wanas themselves were becoming smaller to be able to survive on less food. This is amazing, rigt animals changing the size of their bones in response to environmental factors.
