I think we all focus on politics a lot, and it gets lots of mediate peverage in disinformation and elections and all that. But i believe that there's a real rise in disinformation for profit. And it's very closely related to comm marketing. So people are monotizing this in different ways. That could be anything from on line advertising, which, as we all know, the more clicks you get, the more money you make. But i've also seen stuff like i conspiracy theory web sites that hat solicit donations from their fan bases.
