How to Balance Short and Long Term Investments

I was never the short term type of trader, it was too difficult to be a short term trader when you worked on the floor of the exchange because you were so busy representing institutions. I learned the hard way that okay, that's not my thing and being super long term isn't necessarily for me So I find kind of the sweet spot for myself being more the intermediate can slim type of strategy. But I still very much like to talk also the short term because I love to talk about the markets right and I do every day and that daily blog that I write.
