Is There a Thick Slice of God?
Aristotle says god is the just as god is thought, thinking itself. The argument for this can be found in aristotle's metaphysics. It has to have an intellect and it has to have a will - that's how moris clark gets to a god is love. If you're trying to turn your attention to what goes on in your own mind when you're trying not to think of god too much, then maybe God doesn't seem so real after all.
