Kabbrat's Agronomy

Kabbrat tried to get the peasants to see that they were being exploited in ways they could not even perceive. He saw top-down structures of some ethnic groups as counterproductive because their chiefs were often co-opted by the Portuguese colonizers. His business was resistance, which he defined as destroying one thing for the sake of another. Like Krumah and others who wrote against neo-colonialism, Kabbrat understood economic exploitation and domination to be core of colonial enterprise.
