Anxiety is a huge driver over so many of our public policy issues. And we're debating public policy issues thinking the state or some policy out there can do, can just solve it. We need to actually mobilize our communities, our churches to deal with this underlying epidemic of anxiety that's causing all sorts of dangerous behaviors,. David Perry: Gun idolatry leads to behavior that is reckless and dangerous.

This week David and Curtis tackle the tough subject of gun violence. They look at the various tensions between gun rights and gun control and the hyper-polarized responses we are apt to have on one side or the other. They also help us take a step back to think through the “how” of approaching such a complex issue versus just the “what” of our preferred policy outcome.
