Outrage and Optimism - What's the Difference?
The podcast is called outrage and optimism, because we think both of those things are now needed to move us forward. I am outraged that companies and countries are claiming to be climate champions. They're lotting net zero. But they're doing that while expanding the problem. We no longer have time for technological fixes to justify expansion. These are acounting tricks their vague promises. And i'm astounded and amazed by how quickly this movement is growing. There are now 267 elected officials, parliamentarians from 60 countries that are calling for no new expansion of oil, gas and coal. So so that gives me hope and optimism. An an outrage. What's one thing that keeps you outraged?
