Bob Dylan and Dave Von Rong. He was kind of castigated by more doctrinaire left forces at the time for leaving topical music but in those two or three years he just produced lasting work. I felt like it kind of those times were much more uplifting if you know they were still a bit disorienting. It's amazing to me that people are still discovering people like the Beatles and Dylan because there's just so much out there. There's certain canon from back then that really does hold up which I can't readily identify today.
