Did Mumford Buy the Paintings and Hang Out Basquiat?

Snead: I met John Michelle basket in the fall of 1982. He came to the door naked. So then Jean Michelle, he leads this guy on a naked tour and shows this is how I'm going to be. This is so he has all these crazy stories of him exchanging stuff. And you would think maybe a poem and an exchanging art and all this would have possibly been there. No, Snead's account of Basquiat's time does fit Mumford's narrative how he was but there's no much to Mumford or any anything about like, Oh, well, he has a new friend, none of this.
