A big part of it came from what ended up calling a sabbatical. I had not only checked in on my YouTube channels, analytics and numbers every day for more than six years. But at a certain point, the stuff I really wanted to make or the ideas were just kind of continuing to go on the back burner. And so stepping back and remembering like, "No, no, no, this is my thing" was important.
