How Do You Cut as You Go?
The first cut of Cheetah's film was like the most demoralizing moment of his life, he told me. He had to work through it and edit as he went because technology allowed him to turn footage around so quickly. "I think any film I made in which I wasn't able to cut as I was going suffered," he said.
