The Benefits of Boron in Diamonds

Diamonds are the best conductor of heat on the planet. Adding boron turns diamond into a superconductor meaning that it conducts electricity without any resistance. And adding other elements like nitrogen creates an easy way to manipulate the electrons inside the crystal. Both of these new properties could be used in the next generation of computers which use the spin of electrons to store information, what's handily called spin tronics.
