There is a great deal of fear in the characters and in the way they love. And there is quite a lot of slamming doors, especially as they first disappoint each other. It's when we behave absolutely abysmally that something very vulner childlike, and, in a way, wou know, something we should feel sympathetic towards, is in play. We can count on one hand how often that goes on e in couples.
