The Importance of Compasses
The compass is in fact working. It's doing what exactly what it's supposed to do, which is to not give a reading when it doesn't have enough battery level. Compasses run on a different, more rarefied fuel than engines. And this can be hard for people to accept because they may need to cultivate a very particular, very rarefied kind of fuel in order to get their compasses working. We all find ourselves in seasons like that sometimes.
