At 1.81% of Americans said they didn't believe that Lee Harvey Oswald was solely responsible for the assassination in 1963. In 1979, a Senate committee concluded, based on evidence that turned out to be completely wrong, that there was a second gunman on the grassy knoll. But conspiracy theorists are pseudo-historians who only seek evidence that supports the theory. They're extremely skeptical of the mainstream narrative and unbelievably credulous when it comes to any alternative thing.
