Barbara Kay: I think the thing that I'm surprised about is the lack of subtlety, the lack of finesse in this. She says it will require lawmakers to explain themselves a lot more. Kay: It's very embarrassing for the European Parliament specifically because they do claim the moral high ground when it comes to human rights externally and internally.
