The chips act is designed to correct that. It may be that this just forces Chinese companies to create their own ecosystem, which would maybe backfire a little. But you are realizing now that this economic liberalization of the 1990s with these tech markets has come back to bite us in the butt. That's what the Trump administration was trying to solve. I think there's much more continuity here than we think.
