The members of Asian communities are really going to grow very significantly, he says. By next decade or a bit after, about one in five of us will self-identify as Māori. And certainly here in Auckland, you'll see that probably within two decades, almost 40% of all Aucklanders willSelf- identify as member of one Asian group or another.
