Isaac Was Chosen Unilaterally Before He Was Born?
i do believe that god arbitrarily, or unilaterally, made a choice of through whom the seed would be fulfilled, or through the messiah would come. But that that choice was made before isaac existed, right? Because even in the original context, and it says that this time next year, so we're talking about a year he's born, he's chad,. Even says before he did anything good or bad - which makes much more sense on our perspective.
