The SOE Hotel in the Second World War

When SOE set up their first office on the sixth floor, in the corridor they had a suite of rooms on one side of the corridor. MI6 or the second intelligence service, they were actually on the opposite side of them. As you can imagine, MI6 did not like the SOE because they were seen as 'Johnny come late' So when you say MI6, do you mean that the whole of MI6 was based there? Or was that an overgrowth? It's just an outpost.
