"I don't think i hung out at anyone's house or did a sleep over maybe, like once or twice throughout all high school," Scott says. "There was no one tapping me on the shoulder and saying, scott, youre, you're a great guy, and i need to get know you more." He adds that his friends were just cool with him hanging at home with them. 'i didn't think that there was anything remarkable about me as a person that would make me stand out'

Scott Menke never thought he had a particularly compelling personality, but he did feel he stood out in at least one way: he had a natural ability to learn and remember interesting facts.
