Fatima Madani-Si Is an Interesting Figure in the History of Islam

Fatima Madani-si was a professor of sociology in Morocco and wrote works that are kind of hard to classify I mean they sort of look like works of religious scholarship but they're also very outspokenly feminist. She actually is another one of these examples of a modernist who says well what we need to do is not kind of assimilate Islam to a kind of 20th century or even 21st century political agenda rather  we need to go back to the original teachings of Islam before it was corrupted.
