Why Humanism Is More Attractive to Black People Than Africans?

Humanism and race relations have a complicated history. Some of our favorite enlightenment thinkers said things about africans and verd which make our skin crawl now, right? And there they have descendants to day, who are a little bit less a popular or main dream. So we can't really say we humanists can't really says we were right from the start about that. We get the question wrong. Why are black people still christians when christianity was used to enslaven, enslave them? When the better question for us is why humanism or atheism more attractive to this population.
