The Rodders Club - Is B S Johnson a Man of Influence?

First novel, the accidental woman is really just pastiche b s johnson. The influence is so strong it's kind of embarrassing to me. Whatever story telling form he adopted became a kind of cage which he would fight against and rail against anything. Do you think he was ground breaking? Cause i feel like i don't think he re defined what a novel should be but he did a great job or messing around with it well. One of the tings i find so attractive about him is the way he married that with a kind of emotional directness and authenticity and kind of entertainment. Verybateturn these things into post modern games in a way which is very, very entertaining.
