The Crucifixion Story - My God, My God, Why Have You Forsaken Me?
i recently had a conversation with john vevaki, working through aspects of bridging christianity to his work. i think that that's closer to what you find in mythology, you know. And so it's like, as he is dying on the cross, and everybody is mock as a criminal and as the worst type of and above his head is an ironic statement about him being the king,. which is actually true. Undso he's actually filling up that roll while he is emptying at the same time. It's a deeply mystical image. An so when christ says, my god, god, why have you forsaken me? You have to understand what that refers to.
