The Power of Grace

The story of Joseph is going to be the narrative where God provides a response to Israel's own wickedness. The thing that propels this story forward, the engine of Genesis is not how wonderful and great all of these patriarchs were. It's the fact that God is gracious despite all of our horrific sin. In Jesus 35, Sam, you wrote to me and as we were sort of working together before this, that Jacob's story comes full circle here.
