The Importance of No Imaging in Diagnosing Renal Colic

In 29 cases, experts had perfect agreement on about half of them. They thought that no imaging at all was required for 45% of the cases needed. Ultrasound is a great place to start if it might be appendicitis, for example. If you're pregnant, you get ultrasound. If you have abdominal tenderness, they suggest imaging and mostly say CT.
