Is Carbon Neutrality a Green Claims?
In Australia, if you're making green claims, you should be able to back them up. But in terms of fossil fuels, not really according to science, it's pretty much impossible for any fossil fuel to not be worse for the climate. So what a lot of companies are doing, often in good faith, is they seek out some sort of certification scheme. And those schemes offer to do all the accounting for them, check that accounting, and then verify a claim of carbon neutrality. The Australian government runs one of these schemes.
