i feel like i'm somehow most myself if i actually have a pen in my hand and am just writing things down. And so the feeling of getting it right feels more portant than just, oh, i found the right words to say that thing. I think finding the right words almost feels like it holds the promise of actually crystallizing the thought in a way that's really valuable. It also is a measure of how much ideas live in language.
