The US Navy Lost Lines of Communication on Sunday
The way these subs work is as they go down the ship at the surface, because it's got GPS, but it needs to communicate to the sub down below. Around about that same time, the US Navy picked up an acoustic signal on their hydrophones which are adopted along the east coast of the United States. They're probably dotted out in the mid-Atlantic as well. And so they gave that information to the US Coast Guard and said, look, we've seen this anomaly in our dataBecause they're using it to hunt Russian subs, to be honest about it. So they want to know where the Russian submarines are.
