The Airlines' Increase in Flights and Seats Compared to Last Year
Airlines are trying to catch up and make up for last time after being largely shut down for two, two and a half years in the pandemic. Air Canada earlier posted a schedule that was 7% bigger. WestJet was slightly bigger with 4% but 9% more seats. So do the airlines have the staff to run these flights? They say they do, but part of the problem is a lot of this staff isn't experienced.
