In Sanskrit, it's a whopeka or equanimity that often gets associated with like the pasta in a practice. Does that also apply to Zen, this notion of equanimity and non judgmental presence? Well, Zen says we don't cultivate anything. We simply let it unfold. The idea is that you can get to a point where you realize, Oh my gosh, I am judging myself and the world every five seconds.
