The Language of the Inda Europeans
The language of step herders in the region north of the black sea spread so quickly. Some genetic researchers now believe that their primary advantage may have come from an early lactos tolerant mutation, which has been clearly documented. Lactos is the main sugar in milk and humans need to produce an enzyme called lactes - if you don't produced it, you can't consume dairy products. But a mutation occurred in europe, which allowed adults to continue to produce lactes, and therefore maintained the ability to consume milk and dairy products throughout their lifetime.
