C++ - Is There a Future for C++?

I think it's been very refreshing in eye opening for the C++ world to see that that is possible. And then a bunch of people came up and asked questions, nitpicking like, well, I don't like this and that and that. It just made me so sad. The point was that we have so many options that we can, we can move faster, we can explore all of these things, we can make the language better. People just wanted to book something. Right?
