How to Trade the VIX

T. G. Macrow: We want to be buying during the panic when the VIX is up above 30. And we want to be letting those purchases out when the Vix melts into the teens, right? So that's the general strategy. Sometimes the VIX melting into the teens is just enough to cause the market to sort of sell off because it doesn't have much downside from there. If anything, you want to watch it for consolidation and signs that, you know, it might pop sometime soon.
